Stress Builds Character.

If you know the song, you know the feeling it gave you hearing it for the first time. If you don’t share the sentiment, I’m certain the statement might bring something to the table for you.

Coming up on my 37th year on this earth I decided to change this photography site that has been laying dormant for some time now into a blog or newsletter type deal.

Who would read this you ask?

Your guess is as good as mine. My dad wrote for the Voice, wrote for Spin. Worked with Cristgau. If these names mean nothing to you, don’t worry about it. My father was a master of his craft, as his mentor/co worker was as well.  People trusted their opinions and wanted to read them.

I think I can count on one hand the amount of publications and writers whose opinions I actually trust these days.

In a ditch effort to be on social media less and less, I put this together. I personally have done light music journalism here and there.  None of it particularly good in my opinion. I have a lot to say, why not put it somewhere? If no one reads, that’s their problem not mine. I’ve been told I have a certain way with words, and it wasn’t a compliment.

So here you have it. Stress Builds Character, the blog.  This’ll mostly be thoughts on personal and music related stuff, I’ll probably include travel/photo blog stuff as well as it comes up.

And before you say it, I am not jaded. I’m just tired and unimpressed.
